Your image worked fine for us with ImageMagick 6.2.8-5, the current release, under Linux and Windows.

This is what we use to build ImageMagick from source under Linux:
  • ./configure --enable-delegate-build --enable-shared --disable-static \
    --with-modules --with-quantum-depth=16 --enable-ltdl-convenience \
    --without-wmf --enable-libtool-verbose
