The only feedback I had from the IM section of my website were people asking for help. Users here have commented about it being useful but only when I have posted in a thread of theirs.
My contact form was getting hacked and so I have now removed it as it was a waste of time. I do not know if I can be bothered to update the IM section of my site or remove it altogether.

With this years stats I had 6,399 unique visits in Jan and am up to 5,379 in Feb and probably would not have had one person email and say thanks for the information

I had been back to the site a couple of times but had not seen that pipitas.
That is very nice but I am afraid there are still to many people there who can not even be bothered to reply to your post to encourage me to start posting there again.

I am on another forum and they have an ignore list which I like as people who I do not like for one reason or another I can ignore If stackoverflow had an ignore list I would probably go back; one of the problems was I found myself answering post by people who had not confirmed if my previouse answers were of any use.

I suppose I am getting to the grumpy stage of life!

I hear very good things about Flattr http://flattr.com/ from the GIMP admins, and IMHO it fits a well put together documentation/help desk site like a glove.
